About Me

Hello and welcome to my eportfolio! While this is brand new for me, I hope for this site to be a working document meant to display my academic, professional, and personal development.

I have my undergraduate degree from Millersville University and a masters degree from Wilkes University. I am also currently working toward my second masters degree from Lamar University. I teach 9th, 10th and 12th grade English at Owen J. Roberts High School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and I am also one of the advisors for our Mini-THON.

At home I live with my husband, who is also a high school teacher, 2 dogs, cat, and 2 rabbits. I love our crazy little farm and would love to some day volunteer to help other animals.

In addition to teaching and family, I am also passionate about technology and life-long learning. One of the main reasons I became a teacher is because I love learning new things, and I hope to help influence my students to adopt that passion as well! Technology is one of the best tools available to help engage students in learning, and understanding how to use it effectively will better prepare them for their futures in the 21st century.
